Tairua Totems stand Tall and Proud

YEAH!!!! Our Totem Pole  project has been realised and with thanks to all our sponsors( Sky Mason Developments-poles and labour, Guthrie Bowron/Dulux -Whitianga-paint, Bunnings Whangamata-poles-labour, Richard De Jong-cement, Steve Jackson-paintbrushes and  Sharon Churchill-poles) these wonderful symbols of our links as Global Citizens  are now welcoming all to Tairua School. There are 15 poles and each is painted to represent a country that some our students originate from. The prominent  red , yellow, blue and green  symbolise our school house colours and each child and staff member has their “hand print” placed on a pole to show their involvement in our school community and wider global networks. Well Done Tairua School. Great TEAM work and what an AMAZING outcome
